Cave Spring
This wine originates from Riesling grapes grown along the slopes of the Niagara Escarpment and south shore of Lake Ontario. These clusters were left to partially raisin on the vine during late autumn, with a further concentration of sugars and acids occurring when the berries were frozen solid by the onset of winter. Selectively hand-harvested and pressed at temperatures below -10˚C (14˚F), these grapes produced a sweet nectar with impeccable acid balance.
Style: A very rich icewine with flavors of ripe pear, dried apricot and sultanna raisins, spicy nuances and a razor-sharp acid balance.
Ageability: Sound fruit quality and outstanding acid levels at harvest promise upwards of a decade of cellaring potential.
Food matches: Foie gras; aged cheeses with fresh fruit; nuts and dried fruits; biscotti.
Wine Spectator
Granny Smith apple, spice and zesty tangerine notes are bolstered by crackling acidity in this lively white. There's nice length and definition, finishing with a lingering, mouthwatering impression. Drink now through 2014.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
